Korres Pomegranate Deep Cleansing Scrub

korrespomsmI got home this afternoon, after a full day of shooting a film I’m working on, and the first thing I wanted to do was clean my face. I’m not a big fan of layers upon layers of makeup but when you work in front of a camera…it’s par for the course. As an actress, you start your work day with getting your makeup done and by the end of the day, you’ve had so many “touch ups” and have been powdered so many times that your face is just begging for a good scrub. I have to say…no complaints here! I love what I do for a living. I’m happiest when I’m on a set, working. But, it certainly feels extra satisfying to take ALL of that makeup off after a long day of work. So, when I got home this afternoon, I ran for my Korres Pomegranate Cleansing Wipes (that I’m still loving) and after I took off my makeup I decided to try the Pomegranate Deep Cleansing Scrub for the first time. It’s a creamy scrub with fine olive stone grains to really get the job done. I definitely felt like it did it’s job in getting the many layers of makeup off of my face. It left my skin feeling very clean and very soft. I think the most satisfying part for me, aside from having a clean face, was how soft my skin felt. Very smooth! The Pomegranate Deep Cleansing Scrub contains calendula extract which is very soothing and pomegranate extract which rejuvenates the skin. It has 86% natural content and is made without mineral oil, silicone, propylene glycol and contains no parabens. It was a lovely product choice after a lovely day.

Product info: For oily and combination skin.

This is wonderful stuff. The older I get, the more I realize the importance of taking care of my face and body. I love how it goes on and how it feels. Hopefully, I can reduce some of what has already been done by a baby boomer.
