Smashbox In Bloom Artificial Light Powder

I love using this Smashbox Powder in the inner corners of my eyes. It’s a great highlighter and brightener. It really adds that extra special pop to my eyes. It gives my eye makeup a sweet and final touch that makes a subtle, but lovely difference. The applicator makes it super easy to use and a little goes a long way. It’s a very soft powder, with a little shimmer. You can use it on the inner corners of eyes, down the bridge of nose, above brows and high on cheekbones. Plus, you can mix a small bit of it with your favorite body lotion and use that on your arms, legs and décolleté for a subtle shimmer. I’ve really been having fun with this product. Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

You have to check out this little treat, new from Clinique. Clinique now has a Bottom Lash Mascara. That’s right! Just for your bottom lashes. The Bottom Lash Mascara brush was “engineered for tiny tasks” and has a formula that resists smears. Clinique says that you can pair it with any mascara on your top lashes. And you do want to apply your regular mascara on your top lashes first. I’m currently still using the Clinique High Lengths Mascara (previously reviewed on My Skin Affair) on my top lashes. So, I’ve got Clinique on my top and bottom lashes and my lashes look great!

Josie Maran Argan Day + Night Eye Cream

Who doesn’t love a good two-in-one? If it’s a good product, there’s nothing better! I was so excited when I first received the Josie Maran Argan Day + Night Eye Cream. And it’s not a two-in-one that’s one product with two benefits. It’s a double-sided package that holds two different eye creams. Love that! The lightweight Argan Day Eye Cream diminishes the appearance of darkness, while adding radiance, and it’s helps holding your eye makeup in place. Fabulous! What would you consider to be the “must have” product from your line?

Start with the Argan Oil. Then the Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer. It’s amazing! The before and after results with the Tinted Moisturizer are incredible. We’re always launching cool, new products.

How do you pamper your skin?

I use Argan Oil.

Having a daughter of your own, have you considered adding baby products to your line?

Eventually there will be a baby connection. Argan Oil is great for cradle cap and stretch marks when you’re pregnant.

Do you have any favorite products for your little girl?

I used bio-degradable diapers when she was a baby. Calendula cream is amazing for babies. California Baby for hair conditioning. And I also like Episencial (Epicuren Baby line).

What other skin care lines do you like?

I love Jo Wood Organic Body Oil. And I’m obsessed with Rare Elements shampoo and conditioner.

Do you have a favorite spa?

I like Voda Spa in West Hollywood. Me and my mom got facials there. They use Epicuren. It was a great facial.

Favorite spa treatment?

Can we do the whole package? Josie comments that since she’s been a mom, it’s much more difficult to find spa time.

What’s in your purse?

An eyelash curler, which is crucial. I’m addicted! I’m obsessed. I carry black eye liner for the inner rim of my eyes. Lip gloss, tinted moisturizer and a cream blush. Also, I carry my Argan Stick for the entire body. It’s great for dry patches.

Do you have a favorite beauty tip?

To make your eyeshadow waterproof, dip your brush in make up remover (or use the Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes to wipe over your brush), then apply your eyeshadow. You can do that with eyeliner as well, by dipping the eye pencil in make up remover before applying it.
